The Atlanta Braves hold their spring training schedule in Kissimmee, Florida near Lake Buena Vista and Orlando. The 33-game slate begins with an exhibition game against the University of Georgia on Wednesday, February 27, at Champion Stadium at Disney's Wide World of Sports in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The Braves will open the regular portion of their spring season at Vero Beach against the Los Angeles Dodgers on February 28, and their first home game will be against the Dodgers on Friday, February 29. Atlanta will have a total of 16 home games at Disney and will play two games versus the Cleveland Indians at Turner Field in Atlanta on March 28 and March 29. The Braves will play three home games against the Astros and two home games against the Cardinals, Indians, Nationals and Tigers. Other clubs scheduled to make a visit to Disney include the Mets, Dodgers, Phillies and Rays. The Florida portion of the schedule includes three home night games (all starting at 7:05 p.m.), on Tuesday, March 11, versus Washington, on Wednesday, March 12, against the Indians and on Thursday, March 20, against the Tigers.
